I have recently bought this kit. I already had a Skyport HS transmitter and I had updated the firmware to make it a Skyport Pro. The ELB 500 TTL worked well in conjunction with this transmitter. I can set the individual power for both the A and B ports either remotely or on the pack itself in Manual mode. TTL worked well using the Skyport Pro transmitter. However the transmitter handles groups in TTL mode and I cannot find a way of assigning ports A and B to different groups using the Skyport option. Therefore I cannot set a power ration on the A and B heads when using TTL. By selecting the Phottix Odin II option, ports A and B can be assigned to different groups so when using the Odin II transmitter EV + or - 3 can be assigned to individual groups and so A and B can be assigned separate EV values. I don't know whether I am missing something with my inability to assign different groups to A and B ports using Skyport.
TFC Staff Comment: Hi Kenneth, thanks for the 5 star review on this product. The Skyport Transmitter should be able to adjust the power on each channel individually. This was a recent firmware update though so it could be your unit still has the old firmware. The latest firmware can be downloaded here: https://www.elinchrom.com/support/firmware-release-notes.html

Terrific portable lighting kit. There is so much that you can do with this kit. A very compact and user friendly unit which gives excellent results. This is definitely a must have to all photographers wanting the convenience of a portable lighting kit. Ideal for both in the studio or out on location on the beach or on the street.
